ABOUT THE SITE

ost of us grieve at the loss of such a kind and gentle giant among us and are happy this site remains here to read. Too often, many have transcended this world, and while their books and printed articles remain for a long time, their web contributions vanish. In this case, it is nice to know without skipping a beat, LB's web collection will remain as a fitting tribute and will give pleasure and utility around the globe.

However, the content is for personal use only and not for reproduction or republication without permission. You are welcome to return for reading sessions as often as you like or need. As time progresses, some changes will be made to update this site to fit the current circumstances and/or additional content as may be appropriate. Our goal is to preserve and protect LB's excellent works in this field and continue to make them available to help those who need it and educate those who seek to learn. Enjoy your visit after creating a login below if you don't already have one.

SOME BACKGROUND ABOUT THIS SITE
Among his many other activities, LB Cebik was the Technical Editor for antenneX Online Magazine and a regular monthly contributor of his antenna modeling column plus feature articles for 11 years. Further, antenneX was his chosen publisher for his works for the past 11 years, including 2 dozen books and some 1000 modeling files for NEC and EZNEC formats. (see more info below) These sales help to keep this site perpetuated. Donations are not requested. Instead, one receives real extra value in exchange for the revenues — this site plus the products.

antenneX and its associated companies hosted and sponsored this website for LB for most of those 11 years and it is our desire to continue to make this site freely available for your legitimate use and online reference. The site is designed for online reading only and attempts to mass download the site will abort. Following our announcement about the tragic loss of LB, a stampede to mass download the entire site has caused the need for controlled access. Plans were already in the works to shift to a login system before LB ascended. The mass downloading accelerated the schedule for this change. This is the current trend for websites because the Internet is no longer the friendly place it was a few years ago.

LB and antenneX decided some nine years ago to produce an annual CD-ROM of this site's viewable content to satisfy those type of needs for readily available references and eliminate any desire or need to try a mass download that wastes bandwidth and may slow down the site for others trying to read online. See further below for links to the latest CD-ROM.

LOGIN SYSTEM
Thus, the only change is we request one create a personal login from links below which will then provide the same full access to the viewable content on this site. It's very simple and only takes a few seconds. Best to use your real email address and not a forwarding address. Be sure to look for a return email with link to activate your login. Please read the Login Procedure before starting to create a Login because the process is interactive and requires response via return emails. It contains all of the info needed and will help avoid any trouble. If you decide to plunge ahead and wing it, be sure to then read the help page below should you encounter an issue. Please do this before requesting help from site management. Be sure to copy/paste your login as some text characters in the login can deceive your eyes if using sans serif fonts like Arial. Copy/paste will eliminate 99.99% of login issues once receiving your password.

NOTE: If you use one of those automated "challenge response" spam services, you will not receive your verification email. This login system is automated as well and our Robot cannot reply to other Robots. One is ill-advised to use them because folks are hesitant to click on unknown links in a strange message with dangers of a virus waiting on the other end of that link. Many ISPs now block them for that reason, again causing more grief than help.

Also, don't forget to check your email filters if you don't see immediate responses. This is a common issue these days of spam handling. See the link below for more info and tips:
